I am Totally satisfied with the treatment I received from Mr Gurjar. His Bedside manners was excellent. He chose the right surgical procedure for my condition and it was carried out with expert competence. Following surgery, I am completely relieved of all the agonising symptoms I had prior to surgery. I can recommend Mr Gurjar to anyone planning colorectal surgery.

Treatment was excellent, Doctor Shashank is highly experience and truly professional surgeon, despite of his busy engagement, at every stage he clarified what he is going to do and what are implications, very impressed by his communication skills too.

Mr Gurjar explained the procedure very well and put me totally at ease. The initial consultation, procedure and follow up consultation went very well and I would be more than happy to have further surgery carried out by Mr Gurjar.

Mr Gurjar instilled me with confidence from the beginning. He engaged me in my care and did not patronise. He left the choice of whether to have surgery in my hands and was not prescriptive in his manner. He did not make me feel like ‘a patient’ but as a fellow human being and I appreciated this. The bowel surgery itself took much longer than he anticipated as he found other issues in the process. He dealt with these as far as he safely could yet managed to keep the surgery keyhole and avoided a stoma. In my opinion, he went above and beyond to try to avoid a stoma and to address issues that were causing me problems effectively. The time and effort he put into the surgery has already changed my life for the better and I will be forever grateful to him.
